Deadline for submitting your London Ambassadors registration form.

Everyone who has registered can now apply to be a London Ambassador. Just log in using the email address and password you chose when you registered, and complete the application form by 28 February. The application form should take no longer than 20 minutes to complete.

Deadline for applications forms to be completed to submitted - put this date in your diary.
May-August 2011
People who have been shortlisted will be invited to an interview.
September-December 2011
Those who were successful at interview will be offered a role as a London Ambassador.
January-June 2012
London Ambassadors begin training.
20 July-10 September 2012
London Ambassadors hit the streets.
October 2012
Events will be held to celebrate all your hard work and contribution to the Games.
Between now and 2012
You don't have to wait until 2012 to start volunteering. There are thousands of volunteering opportunities around the capital, from environmental projects and holiday play schemes to van driving and hospital fundraising. These organisations are a great place to start if you want to get some volunteering experience under your belt.
